As the second season of The Mandalorian continues on Disney+, creators at Lucasfilm have been busy delivering one of the biggest licensing programs in the company’s history.
The weekly campaign dubbed “Mando Mondays” premiered on October 26 with a digital event featuring talent from The Mandalorian, including Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito, plus fan-favorite Star Wars Show hosts, Anthony Carboni and Andi Gutierrez. Every week since, Mando Mondays has revealed a bounty of new products, games content, books, and more inspired by the hit series.
As with everything at Lucasfilm, it’s been a team effort. Employees from Consumer Products, Games, and Publishing have developed new offerings that bring The Mandalorian story home for fans. All of them work in collaboration with The Mandalorian production team to authentically realize each piece, whether it’s a volume of conceptual artwork or a remote-controllable plush of the Child!
“I am inspired every day by the drive, the innovation, and the creativity of everybody that I get to work with,” comments Design Manager Celina Chu of the Lucasfilm Consumer Products team.
