Community

All of our global studio locations at Lucasfilm and ILM offer employees a vibrant, inclusive culture with a deep sense of community and creativity, as well as a host of employee-led Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs) that encourage an inclusive, engaged, and productive environment. There is also a variety of active employee clubs available spanning a broad range of topics and interests, as well as multiple enrichment classes provided throughout the year. Membership in clubs and participation in classes is open to all employees. Company culture events in each studio throughout the year also provide a sense of fun, creativity and networking among colleagues.

Employee Resource Groups

ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups that serve as a catalyst for transforming the organization’s culture into a more inclusive, engaged, and productive environment. Membership is open to all employees. The ERGs play a key role in Lucasfilm’s commitment to creating a culture of inclusion and belonging.

MOSAIC is a community of ethnically and racially diverse employees who act as conversation starters, identifying and advocating for the policies, resources and programs required to achieve positive, lasting change in the Lucasfilm family of companies. MOSAIC will hold the company accountable to its overall broader Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives and support their implementation through company and community-building programs.

The mission of the LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group is to foster community, promote inclusivity, and generate meaningful conversation on relevant topics for our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees and their allies. The LGBTQ ERG will partner with Lucasfilm, ILM and Skysound to attract and retain talent that identify as LGBTQ through visibility programs, networking opportunities, educational resources and community-focused events.

All of our open positions are posted on the Disney Careers site which you can find the link here: Browse All Jobs. Please apply with your resume and cover letter. If the position requires a portfolio/reel, please provide the link and password if applicable.

We have three office locations: San Francisco, Burbank and Nicasio, California. Most of our positions are hybrid, meaning you are required to work onsite a minimum number of days. We do offer remote positions on a case by case need depending on the role.

As you can imagine we receive a tremendous amount of applications for our open positions. While we are not able to provide feedback on every application, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application.
