Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The entire world waited with excitement for the release of The Force Awakens in 2015

As one of the most successful films in history, it ushered in an entirely new era of Star Wars storytelling and inspired generations young and old.

Directed by renowned filmmaker J.J. Abrams, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Lawrence Kasdan and Michael Arndt, The Force Awakens was created with a fantastic blend of practical elements and innovative digital technology.

A story enveloped in the original spirit of the first Star Wars adventures, The Force Awakens took the saga’s themes to new and exciting realms. Like a classic of the past for the modern age, Abrams delivered an adventure that left audiences eager for more.

The galaxy has a new oppressor in the form of the evil First Order and its deadliest warrior, Kylo Ren. Finn, a deserting stormtrooper, meets Rey, a young scavenger, and together the pair blast off on an adventure with Han Solo. Rey soon discovers her powerful connection to the Force, as the fledgling Resistance strikes a crucial blow at the First Order.

Luke Skywalker? I thought he was a myth.
