Architectural Digest Visits Skywalker Ranch
January 28, 2004

[ Architectural Digest Visits Skywalker Ranch ]Knowing Star Wars is not the same as knowing George Lucas, and it may surprise many who have associated his name with science fiction over the last thirty years to know that in his own words Lucas's heart "lies at about the year 1910." There is no better example of that than the work environment Lucas has created for himself and his employees at Skywalker Ranch.

The March 2004 issue of "Architectural Digest" offers a rare and gracious invitation on the grounds and inside the buildings of Lucas's Northern California working ranch. More than a dozen stunning photographs shot by Mary E. Nichols and an exclusive interview with Lucas about the Ranch's design tour readers around the property, providing rare glimpses inside Lucas's office, Skywalker Sound, and the Inn guest complex.
